The only problem is, is that you most likely won’t get a place in the city, and from what I’ve heard, it’s probably unlikely that there’s going to be any placements in Tokyo left. Is it worth it to be in the countryside, completely seperated from everything? I’m not sure, but I’m looking for feedback from anyone who has done a similar program. I’m used to city life, amd would prefer something close to it. I don’t want to go all the way out there and then wish I could run back home.

I was so excited to see Mr. Reynolds display his Blade Trinity physique. I obviously wasn’t listening carefully, because I didn’t even hear his characters name. I was just watching the fancy sword bullet scene. So as the movie progressed, and characters mentioned that many of the guys from the assassin team disappeared, I just assumed that they took him out. I was like damn that was shitty.

Until the end. OMG OMG OMG, what did they do to him? For those of you who have seen the movie, and especially ladies, you know what I mean. Of course his great physique is still there, but oh man, not the rest. I was grossed out. But I guess it’s worth it, because apparently Ryan Reynolds character is also going to get an XMEN Origins movie, and hey, I can’t wait to see him before he’s completely disfigured. Lol.

“I’ve had a couple of people approach me about meetings for a ‘Deadpool’ movie, but I just think it’s absurd to even think that way until this movie comes out,” Ryan says.

Also wanted to mention that Daniel Henney (Agent Zero) is super hot. Haven’t seen him in anything else before, but sure hope he shows up some more!!!

“378 civilians killed in attack but army denies responsibility”

“RFI, May 11.Three-hundred and seventy eight people were killed during a 24 hour artillery barrage that began late on Saturday, according to a doctor working in the region. A pro-rebel website had said that more than 2,000 civilians were killed. But the army has told RFI that these claims by the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam are false.A statement posted on the pro-rebel website, Tamilnet, on Sunday claimed that an assault by the Sri Lankan army, “slaughtered more than 2,000 civilians including large number of women and children,” according to a medical sources in Vanni.

Meanwhile, western media reported that a doctor working in the area said that 378 people were killed and 1,122 injured. Both these reports have been denied by the Sri Lankan military”.

***Once again, the blame is being pointed back and forth to justify these killings, however the issue cannot be solved by throwing the blame back and forth. Human rights are being revoked as civilian lives are being taken for a greater “cause”. Intervention is greatly needed.

So when looking at violent teens bringing guns to school, or beating each other up, shouldn’t we ask about their homes? Their parents? Their circumstance? I think that the worst part about current day society is emotions. We try to act as though they don’t exist, but teenagers are very emotional at that point in life, and any little thing can trigger them to take rash actions in a scenario. So for the many people that point to entertainment as the one to blame, maybe you should look twice and think about how you can handle the situation with your own influence. Perhaps pop culture may play a role in the issue, but when it comes down to it, the people surrounding a youth’s life are the most influential.

Our youth are our future, so don’t play the blame game, pay attention to them.

Lost because of Lost

I think “Lost” is a great show, even though the story line has become increasingly complex and somewhat confusing. I have a few questions about Season 5, which I’m sure a lot of you do.

1. Who is Jacob? Is it Jack’s father? Jack? I have no clue, but he’s really confusing me?

2. What does the statue shown in Season 5 represent (when time kept changing)? Or better yet, what is the statue?

3. We’ve seen people die on the island, so why is Locke alive?

4. Who are the others? Still not explained, and why do they never age?

5. Are you telling me that they turn that wheel and the whole island moves and/or jumps in time? Really?

So I know there are a million and one more questions, but I don’t want them to take up the whole post. Feel free to help me out though and ask any questions that are driving you crazy. I’m starting to think that the whole time travel thing is taking over the whole story, and will eventually lead to the conclusion that time travel wiped out the series of events and it all never happened then. Which would kind of suck don’t you think? All that for nothing?

And does anyone else think that Sawyer and Juliet don’t make a good couple? Maybe it’s just because ladies, we know Sawyer is hot, and usually see that kind of guy with a model type, so it is refreshing to see him with a normal, educated woman. But I still prefer Sawyer’s character before he started dating her, as opposed to “the leader” role.

Here’s a theory about Jack’s dad:

Locke had to die to get back to the island. He died, was put in a coffin, then on a plane, which took him back to the island and brought him back to life.

Jack’s dad, died, put in a coffin, then on a plane that took him to the island. Could he have wanted to get back to the island for some reason? Could he have died because he knew that Jack would come and take him in a coffin, on a plane that he knew would crash on the island because he knew Desmond wouldn’t push the button, so he could come to life on the island again?

Jack’s dad has been consistent since the series began, so I guess it would make sense that he has a large role in the drama of “the island”.

For those of you who are reading this, and aren’t addicted to lost, I understand how this sounds. But I guess its just one of those “water cooler” conversations. I love having a show that is makes you think, and it’s always refreshing because there’s something new being thrown at you. I do find that every show has it’s own repetitive themes, but I’m a fan, so this post may sound nerdy or whatever you want to call it, but there’s nothing wrong with interest and curiosity.

I mean, a lot of you can’t handle my opinion about Lady Gaga, and think you need to correct me. But you’re just as bad as I am. Freedom of speech my friends (or in this case writing). This is life, we don’t all have to like the same thing. For those of you who can’t accept this concept, and feel the need to make fun of me, please stay off my blog, it’s just for fun!

4. We all get to look like we have a million and one friends even though we probably keep in touch with about 50 of them

5. And we’re all a bit nosey (gossip, stalkers, etc)

I mean, networking applications are the great. It’s not like you’re judged for being a user because your networks consist of people that you actually know. It’s a great way to keep in contact with people, especially since you really wouldn’t give a damn about them beyond Facebook. Website creators must marvel at the thought of networking sites. I’m sure a lot of work goes into them (I’m really not technical so I have no clue), but after that, people keep the site going on their own, and boom, just like that the advertising comes in because of all the hits, and the creators are rich (cough cough Mark Zuckerberg). What a great invention, maybe like ConnectU wanted to be.

But man, I’m not seeing any of this money. I mean why the hell am I so addicted? Well, apparently I know I’m so addicted. I mean I go on Facebook like once a day or every other day, but I know there are people out there who live on it. I mean, if I think I’m addicted what are they? How are we to overcome this facebook phenomenon when you’re considered a social outcast for not having Facebook? It seems like quite a predicament. Well people, I’m looking for answers. Are we so unattached to reality, that we live in a cyber space form of life? Have we replaced regular social human interaction with key strokes, and emoticons? Makes me wonder……..

Remember everyone, if you’re not going outside because of sheer laziness, then go ahead, let your life pass you by, but when your 20-something, you should embrace it. Go outside, enjoy the weather, enjoy the night, because once your twenties are done, they’re over. This is the last bit of true youth that you will enjoy in life. From there on out, it’ll be a former glory, just like your teenage years. So stop trying to grow older than you are, have fun, it’s alright, you won’t be judged (as long as you have a balance in your life).

Just wanted to say Happy 420 to all of you that celebrate. In light of 420, Family Guy ran a hilarious episode. You have both danced the night away, and he was always attentive enough to get you that next drink. You exchange numbers, and look forward to the first flirtatious phone call that’s about to happen. The next day, you wake up with the worst hangover of your life, and replay the previous night through your head. Sure, you may be hungover, but at least you met a great guy. Your girlfriend calls you to run through a recap as well. She’s already uploaded the pics from last night, and is emailing them over. You’re excited to see that she capture pics of you and your new flame, and can’t wait to see the details of his face while you’re opening the attachments. As the picture loads, your smile fades. Now you understand why your girlfriends weren’t excited for you. Oh man, he’s ugly, and very badly dressed. Where did he get off acting like such a smooth talker last night? He looks like a loser.

Just as you’re telling yourself it’s ok, you don’t have to see him again, your phone rings. Shit, you gave him your phone number instead of taking his. Don’t answer, don’t answer. Man this guy just won’t hang up. He’s probably waiting for the machine. Ok it stopped ringing. Oh man he’s calling again. WTF?

You see, this is where men get a little desperate. Now even if it’s a guy who’s not ugly, and I thought was pretty attractive, I usually hate meeting completely random strangers, and tend to not answer the phone the next day, or ever again. I can’t stand the dating process. In “He’s Just not that Into You”, they showed a young girl being persistent, and wanting to stalk guys, but men do the same thing. I still have guys calling my phone from  a year ago. If the girl never answered the first time, or she did, said she’d call you back and didn’t, SHE”S NOT INTERESTED. I mean, Hitch was kind of right, a lot of us girls are always looking, but the difference between women and men, is that we know what we’re looking for. Most of us know exactly what kind of man that we want, and if you’re not it, we’re not answering.

So please, for you men out there, if she hasn’t answered the phone within the first week, she doesn’t want to talk to you. Don’t keep texting her once a day just to say hello, I mean she never responded in the first place to your phone call. She obviously doesn’t want to say hello. There’s no need to call, she has your phone number, and no she’s not just being shy. If a girl wanted to talk to you, she would when you call. Most of the time, when we really want a guy, we sit around, carry our phones everywhere, and wait for that call. Other than that, you’re being ignored my friend. This means you Shawn. Sorry. Good luck to the rest of you, hopefully you won’t meet weirdos like Shawn, Michael, or Shan.

Snoop's Pea-head

OK, this is soooooo funny! Did anyone happen to watch Snoop Dog’s latest reality show, Snoop after Dark? Well don’t. I only watched up to the first guest, and I was done. Oh man, Snoop Dog is just another gangster rapper trying to make some dough off of the reality t.v network. After he sneaks into his restaurant/bar, he goes to interview the horribly dressed Paris Hilton, who happens to be his “bartender”. After the blond retard tries to talk “gangster” with the rapper, she goes on to promote her own horrible reality television show. It was like a chain effect of bull****. On top of it, she tries to bust a rhyme with the rapper. Her high pitched, cat being run over by a truck voice was enough to make me change the channel, but it was funny as hell. Now I see that she’ll do anything for attention on television. I would strongly suggest to NOT watch the show. It’s pretty bad.
