Ryan Reynolds in Wolverine
I just saw Wolverine last night, and unlike the other X-Men movies, I didn’t get too excited about it, so I didn’t really know who was going to be in the movie except for Hugh Jackman (always nice to see though). If you haven’t seen the movie, and you really want to, don’t read the rest of this post. It kind of ruins a little bit of it. Anyways, as I started watching, and the storyline started to develop (even though it wasn’t really in line with the cartoon), quick witted, smart-ass, and always hot, Ryan Reynolds is sitting in a plane with Hugh Jackman and the other ‘assassins’. Oh Yeah!
I was so excited to see Mr. Reynolds display his Blade Trinity physique. I obviously wasn’t listening carefully, because I didn’t even hear his characters name. I was just watching the fancy sword bullet scene. So as the movie progressed, and characters mentioned that many of the guys from the assassin team disappeared, I just assumed that they took him out. I was like damn that was shitty.
Until the end. OMG OMG OMG, what did they do to him? For those of you who have seen the movie, and especially ladies, you know what I mean. Of course his great physique is still there, but oh man, not the rest. I was grossed out. But I guess it’s worth it, because apparently Ryan Reynolds character is also going to get an XMEN Origins movie, and hey, I can’t wait to see him before he’s completely disfigured. Lol.
Ryan Reynolds on Wolverine:
“I’ve had a couple of people approach me about meetings for a ‘Deadpool’ movie, but I just think it’s absurd to even think that way until this movie comes out,” Ryan says.
“I don’t even look at it like I play Deadpool. I really think I’m more or less playing Wade Wilson, obviously, and then I’m playing the creature that will eventually become Deadpool. But in this movie, it’s sort of his newly formed version, so to speak.”
Also wanted to mention that Daniel Henney (Agent Zero) is super hot. Haven’t seen him in anything else before, but sure hope he shows up some more!!!

Violence Amongst Youths
As we seen everyday, violence amongst youths is greatly increasing. Time and time again this is questioned, and many fingers have pointed to pop culture, or in other words the things that youths are influenced by. Sure we can say that it’s the video games, TV shows, celebrities, etc. But hold on a second, many people of legal age are also influenced by the same pop culture (and this does not go for everyone), but many of us know the difference between real life and what we see in entertainment. It’s not fair to say that games like GTA and Call of Duty make kids want to kill people. If the youth doesn’t know the difference between a game and reality, then someone hasn’t been doing their job (not saying the parent is the only one, this could be any adult like a teacher, etc, in the youth’s life).
So when looking at violent teens bringing guns to school, or beating each other up, shouldn’t we ask about their homes? Their parents? Their circumstance? I think that the worst part about current day society is emotions. We try to act as though they don’t exist, but teenagers are very emotional at that point in life, and any little thing can trigger them to take rash actions in a scenario. So for the many people that point to entertainment as the one to blame, maybe you should look twice and think about how you can handle the situation with your own influence. Perhaps pop culture may play a role in the issue, but when it comes down to it, the people surrounding a youth’s life are the most influential.
Our youth are our future, so don’t play the blame game, pay attention to them.
Fast and Furious-Imports are Awesome!
I loved this movie, it had great cars all throughout. When I went to go watch the movie, I was very disappointed to hear my friend tell me what he read in a forum. Some guy was completely bashing the imports. Apparently their pop can mufflers, and tiny bodies aren’t anything in comparison to American muscle. Now don’t get me wrong, I appreciate cars that have something worthwhile under the hood, but this is a new day and age, and American muscle just ain’t cutting it anymore. You can’t compare a huge engine to the latest Skyline. I don’t want to sound like a hater, but the engines in imports are so much more advanced. I mean I think its great that American muscle cars may have 200hp, which was quite advanced for that time, but the Japanese perfected that 200hp, made it faster, cleaner, and smoother. Suspension, torque, horsepower, it’s all in the import. Besides, imports rule the racing world, and secretly I think we all know that. The issue here is letting go. No one likes change, but American muscle had its day, it’s time for imports to shine!
For those of you who saw the movie, and actually enjoyed it, I’m sad that Han only had a two second bit and left for Tokyo. I was also very sad to see (true to form) Paul Walker bashing up that Skyline. But other than that, they flashed a lot of well done cars, and it pretty much carried the whole movie for me!
